Car Of The Month Nominations - AUGUST 2008

ok guys we are starting another Car of the Month (COTM) and will be featuring the winner for, u guessed it, an entire month! since it takes a month for the proccess of selecting the car, this will be for the AUGUST 2008 COTM.

this is going to be a 4 step proccess:

week 1 is nominations (open to everyone registered on this site)
week 2 moderators will gather all the info/specs and additional pictures from the owners as well as their permission to be entered for use in voting and feature spread
week 3 will give time for finalists to be notified and to send in pics for the voting poll and give TGC permission to feature their ride
week 4 members will vote on the top 5 cars (moderators can NOT vote)

the winner will be announced and featured in the portal and in their own article for the entire month after voting is complete. that same day we will start the whole thing again for the next month's COTM.

so here are the rules for nomination:

nominations will run from the 8th untill the 15th. after that you'll have to wait 'till the next month. nomination threads are locked on the 15th.
you can not nominate yourself. self nominations will be edited.
the previous month winner can not be nominated.
each member can only nominate 1 car. no multiple nominations as it will get crazy.
a car can only be nominated once... there's no need to nominate it again once it has been nominated. member voting starts on the 21st.
this is open to every generation of GALANT only. sorry guys alot of us have multiple cars or have seen other great cars... but this is only for GALANTs.
all nominations must include a picture of the car AND the owner's screen name, or will not count.
above all NO FIGHTING or putting down of any of the cars / owners. we are family.
