    Automatic 2button SHIFT BOX

Ok Guys/Gals I wish this was an option for me when I still had my Automatic... There is a new company that has developed an automatic shift box for the 2g Eclipses and has quit a few customers happy with the install

I sent him a pm and asked if it was interchangable with the 7g and he replied nearly instantly with the message below...

All he needs is a Diagram of the Galant TCU soo he can confirm it will work. If anyone can help out with the diagram we could posibly start a group buy and open up some aftermarket product support for the 7g

    check out his reply

It has to be spliced into certain wires to get it to work properly but the installation is very easy and takes about 15 minutes. I can see if I can get the diagram for a 7g Galant TCU and get some installation instructions made up for it. I am very sure it will work. If you know of anywhere i can get the diagrams, shoot them my way and I will help you out on the price of the box if you purchase one

Iam also curios to know if this would work with the 7g Galant since many of the parts are interchangeable IE turbo 2g 5speed tranny = 7g 5speed

If it does work with the 7g galant... There will be a larger base of customers interested in it.

    Thanks..

Any help would be appreciated fellas....

I've been reading the reviews of those the past month and they're awesome apparently. I can pull a 95 TCU in a bit.

Ive seen that before and i was thinking of doing it, but i still prefer the manual.

Here's the link and then download the 7G manual - Impretty sure there are the 2g and the 7g TCU pinouts side by side.

Here's another thread from this site - the guy says the 2g and 7g pinouts are all the same, but I'd double check it.

    Full size diagrams up.

Also, TCUGo has apparently been completely out of production for the past year as they don't have a source for parts. To get one you would have to find one used. :(

Any updates on this one? I'm weighing my pros and cons of auto or 5 spd swapping atm.
