that's awesome, although your gas mileage will suffer in comparison to a turbo build.

Not really, you can still stay out of boost with a supercharger. Hey Jayrome, why not do a twin charge setup? Just have to figure out a clutch or something on the supercharger to stop building boost after 3500rpm or so. Twin charged 6g > supercharged > turbo 6g :)

Theres a guy on DSMTuners who did it with an Eaton M45, looked pretty sweet.

    [Edit]
    Sorry its an Eaton M62:

I'm just curious, how exactly do you stay out of boost with an SC? It's belt driven so it's constantly going once the engine is started? I mean granted, you can keep it @ low boost by not revving very high, but how do you stay completely out of boost.

The puley has some sort of clutch built into it. After so many RPMs, the clutch engages and it no longer turns the shaft of the supercharger.

actually plan was 7psi on the SC and 14 PSI on the EVO 7 turbo

i'm just bypassing the SC with a Waste gate, so when anything more then 7PSI hits the intake/SC it opens to bypass the SC all together... it will still be running but completely bypassed
