    rear squeaks

whenever i go over a medium or larger sized bump or a minor or large sized pothole, the rear tends to make a loud squeak.i dont think the shocks are shot because they were just changed about 2 years ago.so could it be the bushings?

If have done Energy or Prothane bushings and used not enough grease on them, that can cause squeaking. Also check the sway bar bushings if you have one.

lol actually i honestly dont have anything in my trunk except the spare and a ball.jeez this squeaking is really pissing me off.well before i got the car,my brother had a 12" sub and amp and other stuff in the trunk for like 3 years and he didnt really take the sub out for those 3 years.so could that have damaged the suspension, and make that squeaking noise?

Check the sway bar bushings, those can sometimes do that.

Well mine did that and I removed the sway bar and applied a lot of grease inside the rubber mount where the sway bar is. Has not squeak since.

Also, check for worn out bushings. The first one to go is the top spindle bushing where the A-arm connects to the spindle

Try the Upper knuckle bushing as my car squeaks and they are shot. I going to replace them soon.

I thought it was my swaybar and i replace the end links and regreased all bushings and only then noticed the Upper Knuckle bushings were bad.

Not really, I have heard many people buy Energy Supension pushing and cut it in half to install it. I am planing to replace all the rear bushings with prothane in October. Will let you know!
