    new paint job

i have been reading on the internet that when you get a new paint job you cant wash it for 3 to 6 month!?!?is that true? i mean i understand that the paint needs to cure but my car has been pretty dirty and i want to wash it but the paint might get messed up.and also if i would be able to wash it,can i wax the car too?

Definitely don't wax it yet. Oh and try not to use pressure washers, just a garden hose and just water with a sponge, I wouldn't use soaps yet but it's on you really.
