1g TB And manifold

there is no point to use 1g manifold unless you port the head to match the way bigger manifold runners. IDK what year your car is, but if its 96-97 you have the intake manifold pressure sensor which is absent on the 1g eclipses, and youll have to fabricate something. 60mm throttle body is a nice upgrade, but youll need to port the the 7g intake manifold to have any improvement. In overall, this upgrade will not give you any performance, cuz these elements are not really a restriction for your engine at all.

You cannot bolt a 1g intake manifold to a stock 7g head. You can bolt a 1g 60mm NT(or turbo) throttle body to your stock 7g manifold But like mko said, to see any gain at all, you have to port the opening on the intake from 52mm(stock), up to 60mm.

oh, and one more thing!!!!!

I forgot to mention, even if you get it bolted somehow you cant use the 1g intake manifold, because it doesnt have injector holes like the 7g mani does. The DOCH heads have the injectors spraying straight into the head, and the 7g injectors go into the manifold

the 60mm throttle body is a cheap, and easy upgrade.
There no reason for any 7g guy to still be rockin their stocker.
