Nice photography but damn doesn't the sun ever shine there lol

  2. #982
Sun does come out here, that day was 60 degrees with cloud cover, it was perfect for tracking IMHO, everyone stays cool, cars, people, etc. Here's a video from 2 days later with me driving the miata, it's was mid 70s and sunny then. Oregon is beautiful from about mid may to mid September, like the perfect weather. Excuse my inability to catch the lotus, the miata is currently back in stock suspension for a while thus making it the understeer champ

May to mid september is when it absolutely sucks out here. Triple digit average temps and zero rain.

Not much to report, car has been running great, I decided to upgrade the final component of my induction system. I was running a stock evo 8 intercooler, which is nice and supports my power level however it does heat soak faster than I like. Since Extreme Turbo Systems is local to me and they made my IC piping, manifold, and intake, I decided to upgrade to their 3 inch evo 8 intercooler. Yes, it is the length of the entirety of Laz's hardtop. The evo 8 intercooler will live on in Laz soon enough. Install of the ETS piece will happen this week.

And here is a current shot of the engine bay.

par for the course, I drive the shit out of my car every day

Miata was down, so the Galant hit the track again. First time out at the Ridge, had a lot of fun learning a new track, can't wait to go back. Galant was on RS3s. Some good footage trying to keep up with my friends Greg and George in their E92 M3 (BFG R1s) and Evo IX (Toyo R888)

Love hearing the spool on the low RPM's. How does the IC and bov changes make the car feel now?

Also If you don't have an oil cooler yet, I just installed one in rotor glow last month. I have noticed spool times stay consistent where they used to take get longer as it got hotter. Oil temp is now 190f vs 220f average after a 30 minute cruise. Hard wired a fan to it from my radiator fan wiring so everything is on with the key's ignition.
