are hankook tires any good?

No. Thats my personal opinion. They are a cheaply made tire, and their quality is garbage.

I'd recommend a ton of other companys before Hankook. Even though I work at a Goodyear part time, I'm not biased to always recommend them. I'd just stay away from Hankook.

bad expiriences with good year.

TripleTreds are great tires. I rock them for my winter tires. Have seen thousands of them with very little issues. Goodyear is on their game, but they aren't availible your size. Though I'd suggest if you want to give goodyear another shot get the following:

I've had good experience with the Falken Zeix912s - I have not driven them in the snow, so I couldn't tell you how they are in that regard. Otherwise, a good low cost tire.
