eh time to upgrade to a new windshield anyway. It looks like your has a lot of pits, which from my experience, are pretty bad when the sun is at the right angle.

Yup, thanks. Shit happens. Its not worth dwelling over something so simple as getting a new windshield. It can be fixed, so not worth freaking out over. :)

You are completely correct. I've been thinking about replacing it for the last couple of months. I'm kind of afraid to replace it because I think I might freak out and think that there is no glass there with the new, non-pitted glass haha!

Got a new windshield, and I can see so clearly now it kind of freaks me out.

Is anyone even following this thread? Haha

I am! haha. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that run you?

Thanks for reading this thread haha!

It cost me zero dollars. I have full glass coverage with no deductible. Without insurance, I have no clue what it would run me.

So I got the windshield, let it sit inside the shop for 5 hours, and then pulled it out and let it sit outside for 2 hours. I got a little bit of frost build up on the inside on my windshield. I don't think thats normal, because its never happened before. Anyone have any ideas why? New glass? Not sealed correctly?

Maybe it has moisture on it still? Not sure. Could be just like the condensation when the windows fog up.

I'm going to say it may have been somewhat humid/damp inside the shop. When you parked it outside, the condensation froze. Just a theory lol

It very well could be. It was just strange because I have my car inside the shop all the time and then park it outside, and this never happened before. Who knows haha
