yea but aren't Jigz's wheels 16x8 as opposed to the 16x6.5 of the GTZ wheels?

  4. #384
Adrian, the GS-T wheels are 16x6. I never got those 16x8's. All USDM Mitsu 16's are 16x6 except for the 3KGT's and the 17's before the EVO were 17x6.5

ahh I see I see.... And I was scared to run 225 on my 17x6.5 (which is why I have 215) :(

Yeah, it'll be interesting how this car will handle in the summer. The KD's up front dont reach full grip until 80*. I think the spacer will help the handling a little though, givng it a wider stance should give me good results.

Actually, not true about the 16"s, I had these Enkei's pictured below off the 9G, & theyre 16x6.5"

jigz those look sexi! the spacers will hit those up! If you will roll the fenders front and back I say go 20mm on the spacers all around. that will put you at +26 offset no? with that wheel width that would be off the chain with some camber up front

225/50R16s are plenty responsive on the factory width wheels. I should know, that is what I've been rolling on for the past 3 winters.

Thanks broski! Yeah, it will put me at that offset, my only concern with that big of a spacer is the tire is pretty big, I'm afraid to go 20mm spacer and have the wheels flush but the tire sticking out like a sore thumb. We'll see. If I could only find someone with some 20mm spacers for a test fit would be awesome. 15mm is a little bit bigger than half an inch, I have about an inch from tire to fender out back, so it might work with camber.

Of course homes! I think with max camber up front it will stick out just slightly from my rough measurements. A little less than quarter inch with the wheel width, 20mm spacers and clearance and camber I have left on my plates

How she sits. Should get spacers in the next few weeks. Even earlier if I sell these 15's.
