I just noticed in your interior shot that it looks like stripped the sound deadening. Whats your long term goal for the car?

looking good Jigz. One question, did you end up ordering the whole front fender area in the engine bay?

    Thanks man

Nah, I've made 2 patches. Ive cut it out again and now am in the process of making another one. That panel comes with the whole strut tower and is 300+

Yeah I stripped it out pretty hard. planning on taking everything out of the rear doors as well. After I finish the car, I am planning on investing some good money for the "driver mod". Haha. After the accident, i realized I need to take a few learning curve events, etc because my autox experience was in an automatic galant and my last event proved I have much to learn behind the wheel of something with more power. stick shift, etc. The track/autox is completely different from fucking around being foolish on the street.

Basically, my future goals is learn how to FUCKING drive, cage, find a better FWD trans setup for the car/MAYBE AWD, and hopefully more power. I would like to do more road racing to be honest. I like autox but to tell you the truth, the cones confuse the shit out of me. Being colorblind doesnt help.

Not much done this week due to work and a bent frame scare.

Got the car measured friday and she is spot on so we are for sure keeping this current shell.

I had trouble getting the headlights to line up with the fender and after a few adjustments to the core support I was able to line it up.

After the adjustment. Sorry for the dark pic.

Drivers side is pretty much identical. But Im going to buy a new set of fenders just to take the "fenders are crooked" out of the equation.

    The way she is sitting

I know color blindness really hurts the ability to see the cones (what spectrum color blind are you?) but it will help with being quick and being smooth and most importantly being both at the same time. The cones slightly confused me when I started, but here after 9 years of racing I don't really see anything other then the big picture of the course.

They have Evo School for autocross that I highly recommend, it will quicken your reaction times, refine your instinctual reactions and make you smooth. When you go from an autocross to a road course everything slows down, your turns are farther apart, your turns aren't as sharp, but you are at a higher speed, so when the backend swings out, or something like that its very good to have those quick reactions and instincts to get you through the unexpected.

I have trouble distinguishing blue from purple, red from brown, yellow from green, and sometimes pink from grey.

Kyle, they are ASA KA3. Dont have them anymore. Going to buy some new wheels for BabyG and rock the Mustang SC's on the Mazda.

    UPDATE.

Got the patch almost done just filling some spots and smoothing it out.

Also got some updated pictures of the headlight fitment. Got them pretty close.
