    New color for the G

So for a while now I have made up my mind that I am going to change the color of my car, once I get all of my parts (bumper, grill, skirts, rear lip, hood and fenders) I had been dead set on blue, but I have always been a fan of yellow as well. In fact back in the day of my 92 celica, my plans were to paint it yellow before it got stolen.

basically, Im still leaning towards blue, but I saw a yellow/black truck today and it reminded my why I like it. so i don't know how easy or hard this would be to do, but if its not too bad, could anyone photoshop my car in both blue and yellow? I want to still keep the black accent that I have now. Thanks in advance.

    The colors Im thinking about:

I am sure that it has been brought up before but does painting it involve replacement of those tail lights? I think that there is a small number of cars that are able to pull off a yellow paint job, galant I dont see as one of them. So my vote goes to blue.

Why leave the white? But unless you like the Steelers, blue is probably the way to go.

You do realize that in order to have a good color change, you have to paint everything, right?? Engine out and engine bay painted. All interior and all harnesses out, in other words just bare body and then painted. That will run you around 7K to do at a cheap shop. Unless you do it all yourself. Or you can cut corners and just paint what you can see but that's not the route I would take.

yeah I realize that, and my plan is to paint it myself. i'm going to go the route Galante went. The engine bay will probably be the last I do, but yes I do plan on taking apart the car and doing it ALL. By the time I'm ready to slap on all the parts and re-paint, the G will no longer be my DD, and at that point its going to be a project car.

I stand corrected about the G not being able to pull it off. I think it looks good in yellow.

I think the yellow is a mistake. Besides looking like a giant bumblebee, it's going to draw a lot of unnecessary attention to you mostly from ricers and cops. I also think you'll get tired of the yellow in a very short amount of time. However, Sarge, it's your car, so you should go with what you like best.

If you end up going to the blue, i would make it darker. Almost like a midnight blue.
Currently on my 3rd 8G... Not giving up this time!
