    torque converter is going bad

    i was driving around 1 day and than like i would get on it to pass a few slow cars on the high way but when i did i see i was at like 35-3800 rpm's and it starter to drop back down i dont know is it my torque converter

    When your torque converter takes a crap, you can put it in any gear and it will feel like hey are all in neutral. That's how mine went, I was waiting at the red light and when it turned green, i went nowhere. I thought maybe I bumped it in neutral or something.

    ooooo i see what you mean 1 guy told me that it is slipping and i dont know how it would with a A/T
