If you can persuade someone to work on it for you than congrats, but we haven't had any success with modding our eproms. Sadly my 95 ES didn't some with an EPROM ecu :P .Otherwise I'd take the drive to DSMlink and have a talk with them in person.

wow.. eprom see if u can get someone to socket it...
8g tranny is being rebuilt and waiting on ground control coilovers
7g is just sitting motor and tranny is out(need to finish, just lazy)
6g (vr4) motor is out getting the good stuff like a gt4088 and some more stupid stuff.

Finding somebody to socket it is not the hard part. The hard part is finding someone who is willing to code for it.

I can socket it myself but when it comes to coding, Keydiver @ DSMchips comes to mind. I'm going to extract the BIN file without removing the chip from the board and review the code with TunerPro. After that, probably send the code to Keydiver.
For those wanting to know, the ECU is for a JDM Mitsu RVR non turbo 4g63, 158hp@6500rpm, 137lb/ft@4750rpm, 10.5CR, and sharing the same cylinder head with the GS, 95-96 Eclipse, and sharing the same exhaust cam as the GS.

I have it socketed, just running into some issues with the eprom. Apparently, the eprom seems to corrupted/damage, but luckly the Evo3 bin file works. Here is a sample of a Ralliart Group A bin file.
The ignition maps looks similar to a NA ignition maps.
