No money back from PayPal at this point. Off to the Bank I go.

you might run the risk of the unauthorized payment claim with the bank turn around on you, cause if you paid through PayPal and the paypal account is registered on the same name as your bank account where you filed the claim, then they may not approve it. and take out the money they returned. if the bank told you they will place the temporary funds on your balance

its been approved. i have the money back in my bank account like last last week and no deduction on my account yet.

And i dont mean to be a persistent prick by telling you all this, but I had unauthorized charge on my account once, and i filed the claim they gave me money back the same day..and sent out a form in the mail that i had to sign. I signed and sent it back....only three months later... i get a letter from them saying that the investigation they did was in my favor and the "temporary refund" that they put on my account was now permanent. Just to show you that it may take time, but if i'm wrong and they just returned the money...lucky you.

unauthorized payment.... is that the same thing as the unauthorized transaction through the resolution center??

did you file through your bank too or no?

1. filed through paypal.
2. paypal denied.
3. filed through bank.
4. bank put back $$ to my account.
5. paypal put -$$ on my account and put it in limited access.
6. paypal reversed the -$$ after "investigation"
7. my paypal account is now good.

wished i payed through my back account, you would think that the fees we pay is to cover for this situations. the majority of my balance came from my paypal balance. I feel buying something for the same amount I did not get back from paypal then tell my bank it was an unathorized transactions and I never use my paypal account ever again.

^why would you want to pay anything staright from your bank account? thats what i did and my bank probably wont give me a refund.

if it was just through my bank Id be good, cuz my bank would give the $ back and then investigate for their own purpose, but i wouldnt have the paypal BS to deal with.

but my bank immediately got my money back as soon as i filled out a report so im confident to use my bank and cc when using paypal.

my bank told me they'd put the money back in my account in 24 hours if I filed an Unauthorized Transaction or whatever they said it was. But since I used paypal, Id then have a negative balance with them. Hence my problem.

I filed the Unauthorized Transaction with Paypal and guess we'll see how that goes...........

yup. just wait for it. im pretty sure once they see his user name, they will reverse that -$$ back

btwm my cc is slow and only reported it to paypal yesterday and limited my paypal again. this morning, it was gone and resolved again.
