    fog light wiring?

I just got my 07 galant and what i need to know is if the es trim is prewired for fog lights. Also I'm wondering if it is a difficult task to just wire them in with the headlights so they just turn on with them. (looking at getting halo fog lights).

Best way to tell is to look in your fuse box under the hood for a fog light relay (The cover is marked to tell you which one). I would suspect it's probably not prewired.

You can wire them into the low beam side of the headlights, but you should put a relay in the circuit so you're not drawing extra current on your headlight circuit. You'd still need to run another circuit for the halo rings.

Best thing to do is just tap them off the battery and run new wiring and a switch into the cabin. Most halo fogs come with a three position switch for off/halo/fogs and they come with the relay and harness to wire them. It's a pretty easy operation.

Is there any way to get the halo ring to stay on when the low beams are off? Ideally I want to have the halo ring on with my parking and high beams because I guess that it is illegal to have the fogs on with the high beams. Don't know how true that is though.

why don't u jsut wire them up in sync with the parking lights. the parking lights are on when the high and low beams are on. easiest way without getting too complicated.

I have the grey plugs in my bumper. It measures 3" but all the halo lights I'm finding seem to be 4" diameter. Do they sit back further in the bumper or the come past where that plug is.
