i stayed on the dutch side. we did however go to the french side one day and ate in kokoa beach (sp?). we did quite a few tours. one of my favorite was the apache which was a 10 person cruise jet boat. they take you out from 9-5 or so. started out with a tour of the island by sea and then we were shown some exotic beaches and basically left free to ourselves on them until it was time to go. my wife and i bathed each other in volcanic mud (very exfoliating lol) and took some funny pictures and later we were taken to another beach and went on a guided snorkeling excursion. drinks and food were supplied all day.

we also did a few other things which generally were done in the morning ie rented our own boats, went on a glass bottom and took a few tours of the island. at night we went out for dinner and drinks at some very nice places. and although not one of the nicer ones weve been too Pineapple petes FTW
