If you need a step by step then this is probably already beyond you. :( The timing belt is run the same as any DOHC 4g engine...which even appears in 94-98 Galant Manuals.

i work on all my cars but never doen a swap on a galant i done a swaps in honda and and a ford focus i just want to do something diff i am sick of looking at hondas every one got em i want some thing different
In that case it should be fairly simple for you. We have drain holes to fill in on our block, and that's about it. The rest is obtaining the necessary parts and correctly rewiring the setup to run with coils. Installing a cylinder head shouldn't be much of a hassle unless you really can't lift the fucker by yourself.

thanks do you run the timing belt like the doch motor or is there a different way i have to run it
exactly like any other dohc 4g6 motor. just make sure you have the 2.4l 4g64 dohc timing belt. the 4g63 2.0l timing belt is not the same.
