    wheel thoughts

my current 19"motegis have been through hell... 2 accidents and a couple of potholes.. was thinking of getting these .... any thoughts?... im not trying to spend tremendous amounts of money on expensive high end wheels, being that i havent really spent much money on my car like i use to, ive got other priorities, but still want some nice looking wheels... what u guys think? (black of course)

Personally I'd go for a 17 or 18, if curbs and potholes are causing you problems then the added rubber will extend their life. It doesn't hurt that I prefer a little smaller wheel too.

I'd go with 18s, but the black with chrome lip are dope. Get those!

Just a thought. The tire thing certainly helps alot, I was trying to buy my current wheels in 16"s to fit the tires I have sitting around, but I couldn't get the width to eventually go to a 245 which was my goal so I broke down and bought the 17"s.

I'd say go for it Pedro. They'd look good in black and on your ride.

Black Ones! They'll look sick, I'm surprised that this is your daily driver! I wouldve thought you drove that on weekends only...

    19" minimum.

also since your looking at R1... how about these?

    GTR - 4

also, i'm not sure any of the wheels pictured will clear your EVO brembos.

finally, u guys that think he should go smaller should remember 2 things. 1. his car is a fully kitted street/show car (anything smaller than 19" will look tiny). don't equate your requirements to his. 2. he lives in FLORIDA so i don't think he's too worried about the traction in snow. these wheels/ tires will see rain but that's not enough reason to go small.

yea...well the wheels i have now are 19x7.5,, the same size and width, also with the 20mm spacers i dont think i will have a problem...........i was also looking into those as well.
