Woo, gas door came today. Gotta paint it and my exterior is done. Redid headliner, interior is done...

for now...

Until Drew sells me his components, in which case I gotta tear out my interior to run a dick load of wires for a 4 channel amp haha. Should be fun :P

Have you painted your chrome trunk garnish yet? I painted mine flat black, completely changed the look of the car. I have tinted tails too and it just brought everything together really well. Just think about it ;)

What should I do after I'm home and get the engine/electrical issues fixed?

I'm considering finishing my audio setup. Also a few project like adding "air vents" for the air from the trunk to get into the main cabin to increase the punch of my subs.

Also thinking about wrapping some stuff inside with suede. Pillars, center console... dare I say it... dash... lol. The dash would be very last. Even considering wrapping the whole door panels with suede (aside from what's already wrapped, that would stay.

I'll be using this as a starting point if I get around to the trunk:

But probably mount things differently cuz I wanna keep the spare tire accessible. Question: Could I use headliner spray glue and put fabric over the factory trunk carpet?

Yeah, after all the negative reviews of the SL, I decided the best option would be to just keep the G and put some more work into her. Still have a lot to do. It's a lot smarter anyway, saves me a lot of money in the long run.

Drew, we should go 50/50 on renting a fender roller.

Figured out my next project when I get home. Wrapping the door trim and shifter bezel in the 3M carbon fiber wrap that's up for sale in the vendors section, and wrapping the radio bezel in the same fabric that the doors are wrapped in. Should be fun. If anyone wants the bezels let me know. The shifter bezel is almost flawless, the radio bezel is broken to shit, has no clips or screw holes for the little cubby (came to me this way), I'll let them go super cheap, just pay shipping pretty much.
