I was driving straight on a two lane road and a woman in the opposite direction did not yield to me when taking a left, and we smashed right into each other. I slammed on my brakes but my car is still destroyed! I can't even imagine what I/my car would be like if I hadn't done that. It was an SUV.

That must be totaled, right? It looks like someone took a sledge hammer to everything under my hood and rearranged everything. I don't even know what the hell I'm looking at, do you?

I suffered no major injuries, just some really severe bruising on my knees and arms, swelling on my face from the airbag, and I'm just sore all over. I was wearing my seat belt.

Damn. Thats exactly why you buy these cars. They are safe to no end. Glad to see you are ok after that kind of hit, its tough, I know from first hand experience. And yes, I'd say the car is totalled, though the interior cabin, and rear clip are undoubtedly in decent shape still seeing as it was head on.

But damn...I'm just glad you made it out alive.

Seems like that shit happens WAY too much. It freaks me out when I see people start to pull out like that, 1000 fold when Im on my bike.
