    tcl light, possible causes...

After driving about 25 miles the tcl light turns on, then once the car is turned off and back on the light does not come back on. Then after driving another 25 or so miles it comes back on... then when u turn it off it goes off again.. any thoughts...

I assume it comes on and stays on right? If so, that means the ABS light should come on also. I would guess first that there is a failure in a wheel speed sensor, or an abs tone ring could be damaged (broken or smoothed teeth).

it was actually on all by itsself.. and it stays on till u turn the car off and back on.. it goes on after driving like 25 miles or so, ss not under short distances

Sounds like maybe the relay is sticking. Take out the TCL/ABS relay, tap it on a hard surface a few times and put it back in. You may just have carbon buildup on the contacts. If that doesn't solve it, I agree with Dave, it may be a speed sensor.

That's because you don't have it. It's traction control.

It was Lancia, and from the 1920s to the 1960s. And even Ford had two V4 engines also.

Not to mention its really common in motorcycles.
