Rear Strut Mounts
Well Tomorrow I'm replacing the rear strut mounts since I didn't replace'm when I did my shocks, and there pretty shot, one question I have is torquing the rear struts..whats an effective way to do that..when I did the strut job i don't really think I did them right..am I suppose to compress the spring so I can thread the the jam nut as far it can go?or should it be like the front with the cars weight it'll push the spring down so I can torque it to spec....this is a stock setup on gr2's by the way..

You won't be able to let the weight of the car help you push the rear shocks in the car. You have to use a floor jack or jackstand and drop the car on that to push the rear suspension assembly into the car. There isn't a specific torque pattern, there is a torque spec, but its not as critical as many think. As long as it is tightened enough that you cannot remove it by hand and another 1/2 turn or so should be more than adequate if you don't have a in/lbs or ft/lbs torque wrench.
