squewwlngish sound from engine

there is a sound what kinda sounds like a loose screw or rattiling somthing from engine but ive checked and nothing is vibrating it sounds like its coming somewhere near the pulleys, my freind thinks it could be the water pump, has new belts on it.

Just a thought but your sure it's not the belts slipping?
