    stereo problem

    Hi, i just installed a new stereo into my 8g, and it turns off and on when i have my headlights/dim lights off ,but it stays on with no problems when i have them on, could this be because of a wire not connected right?, ive searched the forums and cant really find anything related to this, and a little low on $$ right now..thanks

    Who installed it? And either way it could be a wiring issue. If you are comfortable remove the radio and inspect it. If you are not sure just let us know.

    The power wire for the headunit is connected to the dimmer wire and not the ACC wire. I don't have a stock wiring diagram now but if you find one and check the wires I believe that is where your problem is.
