Noob question

Hey can somebody provide me with a list of all the parts that can be taken from a an eclipse and/or Montero to a galant. For example I want to change my intake manifold, put in poly urethane bushings, throttle body, header, etc. Is there a thread that give details unto which parts can be taken form the models listed above to my I4 galant?

A lot of parts are interchangeable. The year of your Galant would be very important piece of information to determine the answer I can give you.

We need the generation of Galant (7G, 8G, etc.) because some parts aren't interchangeable. As for the intake manifold and throttle body, you can use those parts off of an Outlander. You can use exhaust from a 3G Eclipse, but you need to add piping.

Assuming since this is posted in the 8G performance section that you have a 8th gen Galant (1999-2003)

You can use a Outlander intake manifold, and it actually gives marginally improved performance and doesn't crack as easily as some have experienced on their I4s. The Eclipse intake manifold is exactly the same. No other manifold is a direct bolt on. The Montero uses a V6, so its no dice.

yeah thanks for not slamming me and thanks for the information. BTW it is a 8th Gen. the sticky on 8th gen replacement parts was diz-ope!

oh yeah one more thing... what year on the outlander is compatible with my 8th gen?

Any outlander of the previous generation, so not the one that's on the market now, but the one before it, don't know the years.
