    Avic-88 DVD/Navigation Pioneer

    I am getting a deal on this unit by itself with no screen. Do I have to buy a Pioneer unit for this to work?

    In short you only a nav drive you still need a display unit. A few are as follows the AVH-P7500DVD
    AVH-P6800DVD
    AVH-P6600DVD
    AVH-P6500DVD
    AVH-P5700DVD
    AVX-P8DVD

    i believe you do need a pioneer carl.. at least for the touch screen to work...pretty good unit though...for just the dvd players though it is cheap enough nowadays
