    turbo question???

Hi everyone here it is, im rebuilding a galant engine 4g64 2.4l on my 2002 galant. Almost done just need the cam, valves, and springs, than I start with the machinery part of boring out block and porting cylinder head. My goal is to reach at least between 280-350 hp, I dont want to go to crazy and smack the lil ponys to much, but would anybody know what injectors I should be running on? Would 650 cc be ok b/c I have injector that are either 700cc or 900cc. I think that might be to much...hmmm let me know guys thanx.

I thought it would be easier if someone would just simply be nice and say heyy dude you should go for 650cc. Its just a simple question with a simple answere, not looking for a math problem.

    1) What are you going to use to tune?
    2) Are you gonna run pump gas, race gas, or E85?

If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.

650's will be more than enough. people make that power on 550's

550ccs would be just fine ,i think maybe the 650cc would be alittle to much for the hp your looking for

Id go with at least 650s if not 720s. You cant really have "too" much fuel unless you get something retarded like 1600cc injectors. When you get 550cc injectors and are running them at 100%, you will just be spending more money to get larger injectors.

If your only two options are 700cc or 900cc, go with the 700cc injectors.

Regardless, anything over 450cc you will need something that can adjust the pulse width of the injectors so it will idle right.

If you are using some sort of reflash tuning software or anything that actually modifys the code within the ecu, as opposed to a piggyback...
then jsut get a set of 850's
Just because you have massive injectors, it by no means is going to hurt your fuel mileage, or tune.
In my standalone I just input the injector size, and a proper deadtime value and boom.
My car idles at a perfect 16:1 a/f without a single change to the fuel map.

and since 850's cost the same as 550's and everything in between..... there is no reason not to.

I wouldn't do that... But i would use 780cc injectors some type that work with evos. None of those subaru ones.

the factory ecu is provisioned to run as much as 1000cc injectors without any compromise(provided you have something to flash it).
However anything larger than that, if you want to keep from running overly rich, you'll need to raise the curb idle speed.
