the same bov will sound different at different boost levels, and with different flowing turbos(i.e a small turbo running low boost will cause a bov to sound different than a big turbo running high boost.... or a big turbo running low boost, or a small turbo running higher boost pressures)
as well as different engine vacuums, because more vacuum will cause a bov to open wider, or more boost pressure will cause it to open wider
then depending on how much pressure/ airflow is released.. it will cause the bov to stay open for longer or shorter periods of time....
all of these factors cause a bov to sound different.

yes those factors are all there and this is a comparison of a 1g bov and an rb25 bov both running 8 pounds.. the rbs turbo is also larger
