    Rack and Pinion Adjustment?

I have a 2003 Galant 4 cylinder. I noticed yesterday that while driving the front wheels will wander when I'm driving with no movement in the steering wheel. I inspected all the boots that are visible in the wheel well and everything looks ok on both sides. So I'm making the assumption that its probably the rack and pinion. Is it possible to adjust the rack and pinion to get rid of the sloppiness or do I just have to replace the whole thing?

    Thanks!

Before you replace something as big as he rack and pinion, begin with the inner and outer tie rods and any worn suspension parts with bushings in them.
