    dual battery question

im getting ready to run dual batteries in the galant due to the air ride compressors and the audio/video set up. i already have a high output alternator so my question is, should i run a battery isolator, or just wire up the bateries in series, and if i do wire them up in series, does any one have a diagram. thanks

What brand is your alternator, where did you get it, and how much was it? Also do you have the specs on it?

    wire them up in parallel
if he wired them up in serial they would spit out twice the amount of power correct? but if in parallel they would last twice as long?
    is that correct?

I failed electronics this year. heh.

    12 Volt 100 amp batteries
    2 batteries in Series = 24volt 100 amp/hr
    2 batteries in Parallel = 12 volt 200 amp/hr

    does this help?

Need to be parallel as the diagram indicates. You want 12V, not 24V.
