Not So Great Ending Of Christmas Weekend

Got hit in the ass earlier this morning. Worst thing is I got hit by someone that I work with. I guess him and a buddy of mine were racing and didn't see that the light was red and he hit my rear end. I was hit pretty hard especially since he was driving a 1986 Chevrolet Caprice.

Everyone's okay. I had a friend that was pregnant in the car at the time of the accident. Tinting your taillights have nothing to do with being able to see the brake light. I have had this car for over a year and never had a problem with people behind me seeing the brake light. This guy was just racing or not paying attention to his surroundings.

No part out guys, plain and simple. If this car is totaled, I am taking the rims, coilovers, exhaust, CAI, CF hood, headlights, and anything else worth keeping in this car. I want to get another 8G, but dark blue or silver with a sunroof.

IDK on the cost of repair yet, I will have to wait until Monday. I will have a rental car (probably something slow like a Prius) until car is repaired if deemed that. He said "The light was green, why didn't you go?". I was looking in the rearview mirror and saw him coming up pretty quickly. He was speeding and not paying attention. Even if the light was green, there could have been a line of traffic in front of me. He wasn't concentrating on the car directly in front of him and that is why he hit me.
