update: so i made the best of all worlds. what i did was use L brackets. to stop the sub from sliding ON the brackets i velcroed it. THEN i used those strap/cord rubber things and wrapped it around the brackets so that the brackets wont slide around in my trunk. can i get an amen or an "aye man...that's useless?"

i wouldnt consider it ghetto...i mean like..it works? it isnt made out of twigs? i didnt just find junk on the ground and used it? i took careful consideration into making it work. i dont think it's ghetto.
