Will 2g eclipse clutch, brake pedal, and shifter assemsblies work in the 7g? I have been looking for 7g assemblies forever, but cant find any. Any help would be appreciated.

yes, these will work out of any 2g eclipse. The only thing that wont work is shifter cables out of 2g RS or GS. You need cables off GST or GSX

and the clutch master cylinder doesnt work as well.

^^ it does work but you need to buy the tank which is separate for 2g and it is a part of the master cylinder for 7g

I have the master, slave, clutchkits, etc...... and if need i have a few trannies laying around too.

i have a tranny, clutch, flywheel, and starter.

I still need shifter and cables, slave, master, and clutch and brake pedals. If you have this and want to sell ....shoot me a total price. I have found all these on ebay, so if you can beat $200 i'll take it.

seth says the 2g gst/gsx shifter cables are just a tad bit short in the 7g setup, but will work with some bad langauge and elbow grease. slave cylinder is 2g compatible. clutch and brake pedals are 2g compatible. master cylinders are the same between 2g and 7g, there's just a difference in reservoir style.

i haven't been here for a while but i remember cutting corners on the master cylinder by buying used and in the end i ended up replacing it. i'd buy a new master cylinder and slave cylinder, but since you're getting them new just ask for the galant once to save the headache. they might be the same as the 2g but then you'll be sure the if it goes bad you can use the warranty since it was installed correctly on the right car. also you can reuse the axles from your auto to manual. i found that out when i took the broken cv joint and just took the shorter side to the salvage yards hehehe.
