Electrical Problem..could it be a broken security system?

my car (galant es 01) out of nowhere stopped responding when ever i try to use one of it's electrical features while off, like the door light, power locks and head lights. They only work when the car is on and every time i start the car i must re-enter the radio code. i don't think its the battery because the car works perfectly when started. i believe its a failure in the stock security system that disables all the electrical features.

so please give me your ideas on what the problem could be, before i take it to an electrical repair shop.

sounds like you blew one of the 10 amp fuses in the engine bay.
