    Ghetto solution to truck radio?

So my biggest complaint about driving around in the tank is the radio volume control is broken and half the speakers dont work so I was thinking aobut getting a simple logitech surround sound home stereo unit 79-99 bucks and just putting it in the truck and plug it into my iPod. Any cheaper/easier solutions or tips for making this one easier.

Haha wow Cali laws do suck.

Umm yeah I was just gonna get a cheap Logitech X-540 it is what I use in my house and its much stronger than the G's system and sounds nice.

My truck is really a beater and I don't care what it looks like so it's probably simpler just to get a used X540 from amazon(or upgrade my home system) and use a 300 watt power inverter. 120 bucks for a nice audio solution :-D

Looks ghetto sounds great hehe Ill look into decks also but my truck has 5 unworking speakers I think so it'll be a pain to change em all.

Tint laws are stupid period unless you have BLACK windows.

In MA the legal limit on all windows for cars is 35%. I had to get mine stripped which then broke all of my defroster lines just because I had 34% in the front and 30% in the back. I changed it to 43%.

Now what doesn't make any sense is that trucks can have whatever tint they want in the back. Their excuse is that their windows come D.O.T. inspected already and they go after aftermarket tinting. You think cops know if trucks got darker than OEM tint? No, they could give 2 shits if they see a truck/S.U.V. drive by with black holes instead of windows.

Sorry I'm just angry because I just recently had to get my tints changed and I need my defroster here in New England.

I believe most efficient car pcs are more than 120 bucks

Edit: My truck in all cost me less than 1000 to buy and put on the road legally

Im not trying to spend another 1/3 of that price just to get music.
