Man, those look REALLY nice. It looks like they have the illuminated eyelids, too. I was planning on doing that to mine. I may just get these.

Not sure I can justify spending the money, though.

    Man, those look NICE.

Anyways i bought them off craigslist to disect them for my custom made using my original housings. They were H1 bulbs. I had bought H4 hid before i decided to go this route. I actually took my dremel tool to the housing of the H4 HID bulb and was able to make it the size i need for the H1. The light out puts in the same place as the H1 so i thought i'd try it and it worked out great. I will post pics soon of my little project. These really are not that bad though.......
why you could just bought H1's if you have H.I.D.'s they connect the same anyway.

    From the seller

*Item will require H1 light bulbs.
*It will come with Halogen H1 light bulbs.
*Item will not be compatible with xenon HID kit

Looks like its gonna be a projector project.

Because i bought them for my stock headlights. H4 fit, the new projectors i'm working on are H1, I could just go buy HID H1 bulbs for 20 bucks, but money is hard to come by these days. So yeah I know, but it worked and I had them already!!!!!!! More fun to. Ultra Custom?!!!!! hahahahaha

H1?? Booo and no HIDs?? Why???

  14. #54
you can use hids, but im sure the projector is a halogen projector so it wont spread light very great as if it was replaced with a true HID projector.

But on my 07 camry, it has halogen projectors and after i installed my hids on that it was 10X better. so IDK

exactly.. it will work, just wont be what you'd expect from an actual HID projector. still much improvement over halogen tho!

Im willing to bet its as simple as just buying H1 bulbs. Since they both operate as on/off only so long as the plug going in to the ballast is the same (which Im willing to bet) then it should just swap right in. Id wait for someone to chime in that knows for sure, but maybe throwing up a picture of the connector to your ballast and see if someone else here can put one up with H1's.
