My CarPC

so last summer i bought Angel's carpc and i finally got the funds to finish it so i bought the lilliput 629GL-70NP/C/T and i got it today, soon as my work schedule and the weather permits i will mold it into the radio bezel and finish it all

here is a pic of it powered on and being tested

hmmmm. nice, are you fiberglassing the monitor into a radio bezzle or are you mounting it another way?

you mean the screen ?? they are for carpc/car gps and such

yes i am gonna attempt to fiberglass it into the bezel, thats gonna be real fun since i never did any FG work before

well if it wasnt for tuning i was going to say isnt a double din cheaper, so basically you dont have to pay a shop to turn your car whenever you need it done then?

a double din might be cheaper but wont have all the feature, how cool would it be to park anywhere and get internet connection and surf the web ??

the possibilities of the carpc is endless

I love my carpc. I don't have it for tuning. Just for wireless internet, GSP and music, movies. I have a 200gb hard drive in there. I have 75gb of music I believe the last time I checked. I have so much music in there I could prolly go who knows how long without hearing the same song twice. Also the sound quality is so much better and louder than just a head unit. As far as buying a double din. For what this cost in parts and free install from Roman I bet this cost the same if not less than a double din would cost. the priciest parts were the screen and getting the screen molded

i paid $500 for angel's pc and $240 for the monitor and the pioneer double din is $699-$799

so im at about the same cost as a double din
