    idle to 3000rpm

there's 4 distinct sounds and its rhythmic. Car also didnt want to start yesterday after i let it sit for a few days.

Pulled the timing belt cover and it looked good.
Did a compression test and all cylinders were about the same.
Valve cover was also pulled and everything looked mechanicaly sound.

The car still feels the same as before. Im stuck

Any help will be greatly appreciated

My car made a similar noise when the timing tensioner went bad.

is it coming from the engine? Usually anything in the rotating assembly making noise will make it much much faster than that. It could be coming from the water pump or even the power steering pump. The bearings sometimeswear out. Try grabbing the water pump pulley and pulling on it, it shouldnt really have any play. Do the same with the other pulleys.

Thanks guys, it looks like it was the tensioner

Unfortunately the timing belt broke when i was moving my car back into the garage. Im hoping i dont have too much damage since it happend when it was idle.
