I think if i use the 2g FWD tranny then i dont have problem , plus i think the tranny side on the galant is 25 spline but on the 2g FWD eclipse is 27 spline is it correct ?

And what about the lenght of the axles ? is the lenght of them same ?

    Thanks

if you change the axles you only have to change the tranny.. everything else stays the same the length and everything

I would ask Seth. I could be wrong..but I believe he used his 7g axles when he swapped to a 4G63 and tranny.

I used a Galant tranny and Galant axles. 2g axles fit in the hub and are the correct length, but he spline count is different. I tried to use 2g axles with a 7g tranny but couldnt get them into the trans all the way.
    7g for life!

Since I've used both Galant and 2G trannies... the 2G FWD axles have a thicker input shaft to the trans compared to the Galant ones. The lengths and hub shafts are the same.
