Hello,
is the 2g FWD eclipse 95-99 axles similar to Galant 7g FWD axles ?
what about the lenght ?
i know that 2g FWD has 27 splines .
please let me know ASAP.
thanks
they aere the same on the hub side, but different on tranny side
I think if i use the 2g FWD tranny then i dont have problem , plus i think the tranny side on the galant is 25 spline but on the 2g FWD eclipse is 27 spline is it correct ?
And what about the lenght of the axles ? is the lenght of them same ?
Thanks

Thank you for all your helps , plus your rides is really nice .
I would ask Seth. I could be wrong..but I believe he used his 7g axles when he swapped to a 4G63 and tranny.

I used a Galant tranny and Galant axles. 2g axles fit in the hub and are the correct length, but he spline count is different. I tried to use 2g axles with a 7g tranny but couldnt get them into the trans all the way.
7g for life!
i think the galant has 25 spline on the tranny side and the 2g has 27 spline .
Since I've used both Galant and 2G trannies... the 2G FWD axles have a thicker input shaft to the trans compared to the Galant ones. The lengths and hub shafts are the same.
where is the best place for buying the perfect axles for 2g FWD with high quality product ?
