    pod filters

    hey everyone i've just being wondering were can i get a pod filter for a galant because i have already bought one and the bloody thing doesn't fit over the sensor inside the stock air filter
    can anyone help me
    or tell me if it is possible cheers

    Mine has a pod from K&N, and fits with no problems...pretty easy to find...

    and does it do much to your galant power wise??

    Maybe online, maybe even Red Rooster? I don't remember, it was a few years ago.

    I couldn't say about teh power, its never been dyno'd, stock or otherwise. I also made the simple free mod of cutting up the metal filter housing, so all the air isn't drawn through the small air box snorkel. Mine looks a lot like this, because this is the VFAQ I used to do it: http://www.vfaq.com/mods/filter-print.html

    There is all the info you could ever want about this and other simple free mods at www.dsmtalk.com, and also at www.dsm.org

    Spend a few hours reading on those sites and you can find many simple, cheap, effective and proven modifications.
