    Nothing big

Has anyone ever made it so a light follows the track through the gears and individually lights tem instead of just lighting the whole set? I was looking at our shifter and it might be pretty easy to do just need something to hold the plastic piece that says them in and extend the little red reflector tab to contain a light and be boxed in

    Finished it

That's a neat idea. I might check into it when I've got my console out this weekend.

No, that's already been done.. Like on my car..

What he's talking about is the actual letter lighting up.. instead of all of them at once when you put your parking lights on..

I just took pics of it dis assembled with my phone let me see if i can upload them to show u my idea and also jeffy's idea will be a good help

edit: my phone is old and sucks cant hook it to comp and camera is MIA so you'll see what Im talking about when Jeffy posts his pics

underneath the P-L is a black triangle shape that you put your light into and next to that is a tab with red reflective tape that shows on the circles next to the letters.

My idea is to cut off the tab and use the bulbs stock mounting box and cut it with a razor then turn it sideways and attatch it to the track where the tab was.

Extend the sides down to block the light from going to other Letters and it should light up the P and the circle next to it individually.

I think he meant the actual letter lighting up, not the dot beside it.

I meant both its pretty easy once you have one done. Light shines through the plastic pretty easy and if you want it to be brighter just scrape the white layer away with a razor you can see the shape through the layer so its easy to follow the pattern.

For all those that wanted to see my idea in action

lol damn cheap .3 mega pixel cameras

as you can see with the original design that i worked on a total of like 40 mins shines into the other letters and wholes a little bit, I may change that i may not. If its good enough for you and you want to know how to make it ask me and ill make a tut if you're not interested then I may refine my idea then make a tut
