3G and 8G e-brake cable lengths?

are the e-brake cables the same length on both cars?

I ask because i pulled the rear discs off a 3G to do my rear swap this weekend but not the e-brake cables. I searched around but couldnt find a direct answer to this. sorry for the newb question but i just dont want to start something and not be able to finish it because i'm missing a damn e-brake cable.

also, i cant find the tutorual with Pictures showing the swap. can anyone post it? :smt003

Nope. The ebrake cable from the 3G is Shorter than the 8G.
You have to modify it and use your 8G cable. The tutorial can show you a better explanation if u can find it.
Or just don't have an ebrake. lol
