    2000 4g64 kia head timing belt

    evo belt 153 teeth
    94 galant gs dohc belt 154 teeth

    ive heard the evo belt will work and ive also heard the galant one will work also

    galant dohc belt 1 more tooth? a bit confused

    soon to be done with the engine build thanks in advance

    the teeth on the belt shouldnt matter.

    I was told to use the DOHC GS belt due to the EVO belt is from the 2.0 and the DOHC GS belt is from the 2.4.

    With your application, since it is a 2.4L build it would make more sense to use the 2.4L belt than the 2.0 belt.

    I used the 94 GS belt, Slava and Napalm from c3g used the EVO belt, they both worked, so either way should be fine.

    alright stewi i bought the 94 gs belt ive heard of a couple of people running the galant one thanks

    i just read about some guys bending valves using the EVO belt. so id use the Galant dohc belt to be safe
