    Remote Start Immobilizer Bypass Help

So I am in process of installing a remote start and I was just wondering how you guys with chipped keys got it to work. Did you bypass the immobilizer and did you install a key in the unit itself? And if you did that how do you do that exactly? Help or pics would be amazing and much appreciated!! I tried searching and found helpful things for making it work but nothing really about the immobilizer.m

the remote starters have an addon. basically all it is is a small box and what you do is put your spare key in it to bypass it when you activate it from the remote. before you do this though i would get another key since you can program it yourself using 2 instead of taking it to the dealer.

the bypass moduals are vehicle or manufacturer specific though so make sure you get the right one

I'd look into getting a DEI 556U. It's a remote-location unit that only transfers the chip signal when the remote starter is engaged, therefore keeping the purpose of your immobilizer.
