Why would those pedals be annoying?
    7g for life!

  4. #24
considering the regular set up of the pedal, i don't see how it could be comfortable to have a clutch ped that touches your heel, let alone your whole foot... plus it's not like it goes all the way like regulars, these Porsche clutch ped go in maybe 2 to 3 inches and then your good to shift..

I'm just saying, personally they don't seem too great for a performance clutch

flat black looks nice, i mean reeeealll noice... if done professionally, BUT...

    it is a Bitch...
and i mean a raggin,' skanky, three dollar hoar beggin you "Please let me suck your d!@# so i can score some crack!",... of a bitch to keep clean. And any nicks, dings or scratches will be amplified by the lack of reflection from the gloss.

If the car is a daily driver i say don't go flat black. I know cause my boy has his Evo done that way and he's ALWAYS cleaning it.

My car is a spray can flat black job. It looks ok but blue ice is right you have to clean it like every 3 days. Exspecially around here man. Its a pain in the ass and in my opinion not worth it. I would go with the semi gloss. Me personally im going with high gloss when i get all of my body work finally finished. YAY for stupid idiots that Dont know how to bondo!!!!!!!!

definitely go semi-gloss and make sure it has a protective clear on it. My buddies ITR is flat black and the paint chips are so obvious.

get some black wheels too. and tint the motherfucker. lol

unfortunately, I havent seen a semi gloss clear coat. Maybe there is, but i really havent looked into it. I just wet sanded the red paint and it looks like shit. I have to get the high built primer and find a place to spray.

I got something that no one has seen yet, and cops around here are dicks about tint. It took me a good amount of time to remove the one that was on the car when I bought it and dont feel like doing it again

Chris, I think the semi-gloss black would look tight on your 7G, mainly because no one else has it. That's why I got the basalt black when I painted my car...the unique factor goes a long way to satisfaction.

Stay away from that yellow. Too much attention and not a good color.

If you are really interested in getting a good paint job you are better off sending the whole car out to a shop with a proper paint booth..... With all the equipment and paint curing controls you can't possibly do yourself, you'll not regret it.

Are you confident that you can do this if you painted it yourself?

I wouldn't touch the paint on my car unless I can confidently say YES. That's a 7G VR4 trunk by the way. Catch it at COTM when I have some proper pics (not going to be soon hahaha)

from the choices that you gave i'd go with semi gloss black. flat black is a dirt magnet.
what about Redpearl from DuPont? Go straight and you can't go wrong.
