March 6th Orl DSM "Super" meet

Though it wasn't a true TGC meet it was still a great meet. It was nice to see some old faces and some new ones. Definitely one of the bigger DSM meets I have ever been to since my 1st one in like 98.

Met up with Platano and GTorque at the meet and me and my boy mike (Mikeyturbo97) rolled up together in our 7g's. Some very CLEAN 1g's and 2g's out there and a couple of Evos.

This 1g was SUPER CLEAN and impressive setup. Can you believe was a flood car..literally it was half underwater and the owner stripped it down and built it to what it is now.



This 1g is owned by a older gentleman in his 60's. Him and his wife drove down from Jacksonville along with 2 others. The pictures DO NOT do justice on how clean his "hood scoop" top mount intercooler setup is and overall how clean his 1g is inside and out.



The other guy from Jacksonville owns this SUPER DUPER clean 2g. His wife owns a 2g with the same color turbo spyder. Super cool people and is now my new GVR4 buddy since him and his wife just picked up a white 91 GVR4. Alot of spare parts from my GVR4 is going to probably help restore theirs.

ya man i would have to agree and say that the meet was very successful. everyones cars looked pretty damn good!to bad i had to leave to work early lol... hopefully my g will be in driving condition next time. haha!

Its actually the 1st friday of every month thing but the meet attendance has been getting smaller and smaller each month. The Orl DSM site owner pretty much said lets all meet ..cut the bs excuses to come to the meet and just come. Well alot did and now he is motivated to organize a Orl DSM picnic

Mikeyturbo97 just did a 5 speed swap too on his 7g. Me and him are planning to turbo it soon too.

Maybe a dual meet w/ TGC-FL? well (at least those of us not in SoFla, since we know they're too good to come up to see us, bahah).

This is a DSM meet right? That may explain the attendance issue.
