Thought I would make a thread about my car seeing as everyone has one these days
First some pictures of my Galant when i first bought it.
Then I put in panasonic 1200w amp
kicker c12
cheap sony headdeck
pioneer g series door speakers.
Then I put these gay rims on.
Then I took them off and painted the side skirts w09 to match the rest of the car. I also painted the rear bumper
Then I tinted my tails the Honda way (with stockings)
LOL
Then I put on these rims and this is the cars current state.

I just realised that my 4g93 is the same motor as in the Lancer GSR except turbo ofcourse. but also on wikipedia I read they produced SOHC and DOHC versions. can anybody tell me what mine is?

I have one of those water squirters at the back too. but wiper needs replacing so its completely useless atm.
by lancer GSR do you mean lancer evolution gsr, or just lancer GSR, cuz the lancer evos only used 4G63s, and I did some research and there is no trace of a non evolution lancer GSR other than the first generation lancer, which obviously didn't use a 4G93, so in short, no, you don't have a nonturbo evo motor

Its a non turbo version of the lancer GSR motor.
You guys dont get offered them in your range.

91-95 shape CD5A Lancer GSR (not Lancer GSR Evolution) has 4G93 DOHC Turbo motor in same orientation as 6G/7G Galant etc, while the 95-2001 shape CM5A Lancer GSR (again not Lancer GSR Evolution) also has 4G93 DOHC Turbo but in the same orientation as the 8G/9G etc has their motor.
The motor in your GDI VR-G is technically a 4G93 DOHC motor, but it's the GDI variant which has the inlet manifold entering the top of the cylinder head by the spark plugs as well as high pressure stratified fuel injection. Other than the bare block itself, it doesn't share any other parts with the GSR 4G93 engine - almost everything is different to suit the GDI system, especially the GDI pistons which look like this:

91-95 shape Lancers came with anything from a 4G13 1300cc right through to 2000cc 4D68 Diesel turbo motor, as well as a 1600cc 6A12 V6 engine, not to mention the 4G63 turbo in the evo series.
just painted me bezel woodgrain trim to black. came out great! except trim around aircon vents uptop. those will have to be redone asap. Ive decided to die the fabrics too
