Give me Your Opinions on this salvage title ES

A friend of mine is helping me find a Galant from a wholesale auction. He discovered this one.

2000 ES White with 104k miles

It seems to be in good condition except for a bent in piece on the right rear panel and some damage to the lower rear bumper.

Can you guys evaluate this car for things I might have missed. The auction ends 3/26/09.

i would say no because its salvage, but if there is no frame damage then it "should" be ok. I would check with your insurance though because some slavaged titles can increase insurance, or at least thats what geico told me when I almost bought an FC3S RX7.

you will have a hell of a time with that quarter panel. My quarter panel has a small dent and its like a 400 dollar repair

Rear quarter damage no matter how bad should only be about 800 at most even his cause you just re weld a quarter from a junk yard car in and paint it.

As for the car depending on price and if it had a clean title I would get it. I saw someone saying salvage title where did you see salvage title?

What are they looking to get price wise at the auction?

It is a salvage title. And I have no clue how much their aiming for at the auction.

Salvage title? So what...decide how much money you're willing to spend and if it's cheap enough; get it. Miles are really low on it and any respectable shop shouldn't have a problem with that QP. it's all in what you want.
