    Rear Question

If a rear springs for an eclipse V6 3g is to drop the eclipse 1.4" is used on a V6 Galant 8g, and the Galant has about a 119lb greater rear weight than the eclipse, will the drop be greater than 1.4"? If so how much?

This would be a nice question for a good math teacher. Perferrably a nice hot math teacher.

depends on spring rate. can't really solve for x unless you give us y or another equation to solve for in a system. the drop will be marginally deeper on the galant but by how much will be determined by spring rate.

Using Tein as my basis the only difference in lbs/in is in the front. The rear drop should be the same maybe between .1-.5 inches lower but nothing too noticeable. The front is a different story I believe that the eclipse front springs are longer since they dont have the 9ft wheel gap we do. Tein stechs drop V6 galant 2.2 V6 eclipse 1.7

Thanks guyz for your words of wisdom. However, I'm still looking for that hot math teacher.
